it is enough to come here just for the friendliness of the owners, but luckily the food is incredible too. This meal took me right back to when I worked in Saudi and Qatar, but was possibly even better! The mixed bean / foul was amazing, and after one bite had to order a hummus to go as well :) the falafel are cooked to perfection with so much flavour and the vegan baklava hit the spot too. Wish I could eat here every day!! Highly recommend this place.

I've been coming to Hummus for several years now, and I find their food very tasty. I specifically recommend Batata Harra, Tabbouleh, lentil bake, salad, Aubergine wrap and their baklavas. I would recommend it specifically for an upgraded picnic!

Best Fattoush salad in Edinburgh!! Great service. Healthy traditional lebanese food and really nice people. I always come for the Fattoush. There's a large vegan and gluten free menu. Great Falafel and hummus. Turns out people travel from the other side of town for their Baba Ghanoush.

The reviews are absolutely spot on. The food was delicious and plentiful, service great, and you could tell that many locals go here and the staff have built a relationship with them. Always lovely to see. The prices were also more than reasonable for Edinburgh. I really couldn’t recommend the place highly enough. Sahten!

A Hidden Gem of Vegan Lebanese Delights! I can’t say enough good things about this place — it’s an absolute treasure for anyone who loves delicious, authentic Lebanese food and cares about eating plant-based. Every dish is packed with flavor, made with love, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the freshness of the ingredients and the richness of Lebanese culinary tradition in every bite. Their falafel wraps are hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had — crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside, perfectly spiced, and wrapped in fresh bread with the most delicious toppings and sauces. You can taste the quality in every bite. The mezze selection is equally impressive The hummus is unbelievably smooth and flavorful, the tabbouleh is perfectly balanced, and the stuffed vine leaves? Out of this world. What really sets this shop apart is the warmth and hospitality of the staff. You feel welcomed the second you walk in. They’re passionate about their food and always happy to explain the dishes or recommend something new to try. Whether you’re vegan, curious about plant-based food, or just someone who appreciates great Lebanese cooking, this place is a must-visit. I’m hooked — and I guarantee once you try it, you will be too! 10/10 — Authentic, delicious, and made with heart.

I had lunch there today with my boyfriend because we got hungry while shopping on that street. For us vegans, it was perfect since almost everything on the menu is vegan. We each had a falafel wrap and shared a spinach pastry and a vegan crunch bar. The space inside is quite small, but there's still enough room for four separate pairs or individuals to sit comfortably.. though it does require a bit of squeezing past each other. The interior is decorated with a lot of Lebanese elements, which creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Price-wise, there's nothing to complain about, and the staff were very friendly, chatting with many regular customers.
